Dundun drums are traditional West African bass drums commonly used alongside djembes in ensemble drumming. They provide the lower-pitched rhythmic foundation of the group, creating deep, resonant patterns that support and complement the sharper tones of the djembe.
Available in 8”, 10”, and 12” sizes, each drum produces a different pitch, allowing players to combine them to create layered bass rhythms. They are well suited to schools, African drumming programmes, percussion ensembles, cultural workshops, and group performances.
Each drum is supplied with one mallet, making it ready for immediate use.
