The Rapier Mercury electric guitar combines distinctive retro-inspired styling with versatile electronics and a comfortable 24-inch short-scale design. Built with an Okoume body, Canadian hard maple neck and Jatoba fingerboard, the Rapier Mercury provides a balanced and responsive playing feel. Its compact 24" / 609.6 mm scale length reduces string tension compared with longer-scale guitars, making fretting, bends and stretches more comfortable. The neck features 23 Medium Jumbo frets including a zero fret, together with a bone nut for a smooth and precise playing experience.
Three Alan Entwistle RKS6C pickups provide a versatile tonal foundation, with a 3-way pickup selector for straightforward pickup selection. A dedicated middle pickup engage switch allows the middle pickup to be brought into the circuit for additional pickup combinations, while the Bass-Cut switch reduces lower frequencies for a tighter, brighter and more defined sound.
The HiLo Vibrato bridge provides smooth and expressive pitch modulation, while Wilkinson sealed tuners offer reliable and precise tuning. Premium Elixir 09–42 coated strings complete the setup, providing a smooth feel and extended string life.
