The Roland TD-17KV2 is a versatile electronic drum set designed for developing and experienced drummers who want a more realistic acoustic-style playing experience. It combines Roland’s updated TD-17 sound engine with responsive mesh-head pads, larger playing surfaces, and newly developed thin-profile cymbals for improved feel and expression.  
 
The kit features a 12-inch PDX-12 mesh-head snare and 10-inch PDX-8 tom pads, all with adjustable mesh-head tension for a natural rebound and comfortable playing response. The cymbal setup includes a 12-inch CY-12C-T crash and 14-inch CY-14R-T ride, with the ride supporting three-way triggering for bow, edge, and bell sounds.  
 
With built-in coaching tools, Bluetooth audio, extensive sound editing, and USB connectivity, the TD-17KV2 is well suited to home practice, music schools, teaching studios, rehearsals, and recording applications.
